4/1/12 - We will be playing the Sweetwater 420 Festival in Candler Park on Sunday, April 22.  We are on the main stage at 1 PM.  Get out there!

3/3/12 - Tonight we are recording at the Holly Theatre in Dahlonega, GA for the Mountain Music Medicine Show.   This is a Georgia Public Broadcasting program in the vein of Garrison Keillor's - A Prarie Home Companion.  Check the website for broadcast dates.

2/27/12 - Tomorrow night we return to The Melting Point in Athens for Terrapin Tuesday. We love the sound and playing at this sweet Athens spot. We're getting March started right with two big shows in the first 10 days. This Friday March 2nd we'll return to The Basement in East Atlanta Village to share the stage with our good friends High Strung String Band and The Grinnin' Sinners. Info HERE. 1/21/12 - The Weather Channel has added two of our songs from our 2010 release "80 Mile Getaway" to their cable TV programming.  Our original tracks "Calm Before the Storm" and "Sundance" are appropriately named for this honor, and can be heard as background music on  "Local on the 8's" during the day time (5am-8pm) and overnight (1am-5am) timeslots respectively.  The Weather Channel has ended its smooth jazz format, so keep an ear out for Smokey's Farmland Band.  We are very pleased to be included in Weather Channel playlists with bands like: The Who, Sublime, Moby, Pink Floyd, Sound Tribe Sector 9, and others.

1/19/12 - After an amazing trip to St. Croix and plenty of hot pickin', we're gonna try our best to warm up Atlanta a bit tomorrow night with a big show @ The Star Community Bar in Little Five Points. Brought to you by The Good Foot, and with Seven Handle Circus and W.B. Givens opening, it's sure to be a sweet sounding evening. Our friends at American Spirit Whiskey will also help "warm" those in attendance with top notch whiskey specials! See y'all there.

12/11/11 - We know you are saving money for gifts this time of year, so we have a great night out planned for anyone's budget.  We'll be playing at Market the ground floor bar at the W Hotel Buckhead this Friday night Dec. 16 from 8 to 11.   Enjoy complimentary valet parking, no cover charge, and $5 cocktails all thanks to American Spirit Whiskey. 10/11/11 - Well well, it's been a fun coupla months. We got to play Del Yeah! alongside the Del McCoury Band, Drew Emmitt, David Mayfield Parade, and Cornmeal back on Sept 3rd.  We ventured up the East coast, staying one step behind the big storm that never really did any damage in NYC, and we had a great time in Asheville, DC, Chevy Chase, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Manhattan! 8/2/11 - We are very excited to be performing at the Music City Roots radio show in Nashville, TN on Aug 10, 2011.  The program is recorded at the Loveless Cafe Barn, hosted by Jim Lauderdale, and broadcast on Lightning 100 from 7-9PM.  We are flattered to be included on a program that is also hosting Bryan Sutton, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Sierra Hull, The Greencards, IIIrd Tyme Out, Josh Williams, and many other talented musicians this month.  Smokey's Farmland Band was photographed and mentioned in the August 2011 "The Good Life" issue of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine for performing at the kick-off luncheon for the inaugural Atlanta Food & Wine Festival. 5/18/11 - We're on Pandora Radio now. Go and start your very own Smokey's Farmland Band station!

5/3/11 - Many thanks to The Emmitt-Nershi Band for having us open up at Smith's Olde Bar last week. It was a blast! We'll be celebrating Cinco de Mayo and Trey's B-Day this week at The Music Room with an 11 PM set. Drink specials abound! Also we'll be playing a 1 PM set at Art-b-Que in Avondale Estates this Sunday. C'mon out y'all!

3/29/11 - It's HOOTENANNY time boys and girls!!! Come join us on Saturday April 2nd at Smokey's farm (aka Cherokee Farms) in Lafayette, GA for T-Dawg's Back Porch Hootenanny, an event never to be missed. Beautiful camping spots abound, and we're thrilled to share the bill with lots of talented folks. (INFO).

3/29/11 - Well it's official...we love NOLA!! Thanks to all the folks in the Crescent City, and up in Covington too, for another great round of shows in Louisiana. This weekend, SFB is very excited to be heading up to Knoxville to be featured on WDVX for the Blue Plate Special. Tune in Friday at Noon on www.wdvx.com. Trey, Ian, and Rurik will also play as Smokey's Trio on Thursday night at Sapphire Restaurant in Knoxville.

3/16/11 - Fresh off great shows at Twain's and Krog Jam with the Freight Hoppers last week, SFB is packing up and ready to head to New Orleans for lots of great gigs and a little St. Paddy's Day fun! (INFO).

2/7/11 - SFB is getting ready for an exciting weekend of music. The guys make their Dahlonega debut at Crimson Moon Cafe on Friday night (INFO), and then look forward to playing the RAD Studio Cruise on Saturday in Avondale Estates (INFO).

1/11/11 - After a great tour all over the island of St. Croix, the guys are back in Atlanta and ready for a big show this Friday January 14th at Five Spot!!  INFO

10/21/10 - SFB returned from a great New Orleans tour and had the pleasure of opening for Sam Bush @ The Variety Playhouse! Check out a video from the show below!

10/14/10 - Smokey's Farmland Band opened for Willie Nelson at The House of Blues in New Orleans in front of a sold out crowd. Please check out the video footage below, It was a magical night that will not soon be forgotten.
